Celebrating Marya Repko

Relatives and friends of Marya Repko celebrated her birthday with a luncheon, cake, and gifts in June.

Everglades City Councilperson Vicky Wells presented Marya with a gift from the City saying, "You make a difference – above and beyond, Marya. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication."

Patty Huff also presented Marya with a card which read "Marya, in recognition of your passion in preserving and promoting the history of the Everglades area and its people, the ESHP honors you by naming the library in the Bank of Everglades the Marya Repko Historical Library.”

Well deserved, Marya!
